Ruby Maddox is a Purpose Coach, speaker, and workshop facilitator, dedicated to helping individuals cultivate their potential for meaningful contributions to society. She has spent more than 15 years working in the field of nonprofit management and philanthropy. Ruby is the co-founder of two nonprofit organizations focused on social justice, leadership, and equity. She is a TEDx speaker and the recipient of the 40 Under 40 Business and Community Leader's award.
Ruby Maddox has also has also spent more than 12 years working in the field of higher education and experiential learning; coordinating internship and fellowship programs focused on academic development and professional achievement.
Ruby co-founded Gardening the Community, a youth urban agriculture program in Springfield, Massachusetts and Leaders of the Free World, an international experience and leadership development program for young black men.
As a first generation graduate, Ruby pursued a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Public Policy and Urban Communities. In 2013 she received her Masters in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy from Bay Path College.
Ruby believes in cultivating community and inspiring others to lead their best lives.
